Referring to your telegram of 5th

March have been unable to obtain decision

regarding aerodrome, Accordingly.

dredging proposal must be considered

as affecting harbour alone. Consider

that works mentioned paragraphs 2 and which are of undoubled advantage to

the colony 3 of your telegram may be undertaken

provided no danger of dredging at

Kowkon undermining jetties and

provided Company will accept same

price per cubic yard for this part

as for whole work. I am advised by

Consulting Engineers that price is very

reasonable on the assumption that it

includes deposit of dredgings in

reclamation and that quantity is

ascertained by measurement of material
